I put together a site for the nuzlocke!

Here you can check out the current party, but also I put it together as a blog for posting things regularly throughout the series about what the plan is, the schedule, and just generally what my thoughts and feelings are about it. It also checks for new clips regularly and snapshots the party at the time that the clip was created so that when we go back to look at the clip later, we can get some additional context about what else might have been going on whenever the clip was made.

Also, you can check out each of the pokemont that I've caught so far. I added some brief notes for each pokemon (names, stories, whatever), and created a space where you can investigate the pokedex entry for each one along with all of their stats (xp, hp, evs, ivs, etc), what location I caught them in, and when they died (if applicable). The site keeps track of the party in near-real-time, and notes dead pokemon as they die.

Finally, remember what I mentioned about clips automatically snapshotting pokemon? It also sets a featured pokemon for the clip - whoever is in battle, or whoever is the first pokemon. That way when we're looking at one of the pokemon we can see some of the key moments that they have been involved in. I'm pretty excited about that one, honestly.

So, I'm super excited. I'll go ahead and get the rules in place soon, and have some other fun plans for other parts of the site. I plan to do another post soon to talk about some of the technologies involved in making this work, and what some of the plans and possibilities are moving forward.
